Mission Statement
Our mission statement as prayer intercessors is to intercede for health, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding for the people of god understanding that all souls belong to God. 'For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might according to his glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;' Colossians 1:9-11.

Purpose
Our purpose is to intercede with the Holy Spirit to lift the church to a higher level in Christ. Prayer is communicating with God. We will read the Holy Bible to let God speak to us and we will pray to speak to God. 'In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance wit God's will.' Acts 8:26-27 We will give thanks, intercede, pray, and make specific request to God. We will also confess sins, ask for a forgiving spirit, not be selfish in our motives, and not hold bitterness within. We know God as a Savior, a Friend, a Wonderful Counselor, a Mighty God, an Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, as the Lord of Lords, and as the Alpha and the Omega. Isaiah 9:6, Rev 1:8 Through prayer we will intercede for lost souls because we know that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and he that convert a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death. 2Peter 3:9; James 5:20

We will meet weekly using the Prayer List from Altar Call on Sundays along with any other person or situation that the has been placed on our hearts and pray God's will for them. We will not refuse to pray for anyone. 'Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective' .James 5:13-16

Vision
Our vision is to request and continually pray for the people of God for health, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding for the people of God with the Holy Spirit interceding through Jesus Christ to God. Romans 1:9; 1Samuel 12:23 We realize that our prayers will never be known completely in this life but we will not give up.

Sunday school

A firm commitment to the Scriptures as our textbook combined with a dedicated group of teachers provides the foundation of our Sunday School. Each teacher serves out of a love for people and for the Lord. Age graded classes are available from the toddler up to high school. Additionally, adult classes furnish opportunities for fellowship, learning, and service.

OUR MINISTRIES

At St. Andrew we view ministry as a privilege. Its our joy to serve one another, our community and the City. Our ultimate goal is to do our share in fulfilling the great commission. We offer a variety of ministry programs and opportunities. As an age diverse congregation we have a burden to reach our Children and our Seniors. Our conviction is that ministry should engage every member, equipping them to become all things to all men so that we might win more Souls to Christ.

Missions
The purpose of Missions & Outreach at St. Andrew MBC, KCK is to train and equip ordinary people to go and do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God’s love in tangible ways. Through building bridges in our local community, SAMBC strategically leads and partners with other ministries that care for the most vulnerable in our community. Through equipping the saints (you), we are able to show the love and compassion of Jesus to a broken and hurting community. We believe that the key to transforming lives for Jesus is through the context of the relationships we build in our neighborhoods.
